20. Dec. 2011 Further EAE Retrofit Projects
In both instances the life cycle of the machines will be extended by at least 10 years due to the EAE retrofit. Warranty and the availability of spare parts for these systems have been re-established as well.
One of the projects consists of exchanging the existing PECOM system of the Detmold based printing house Hermann Bösmann. Apart from the control consoles, also damping and ink unit controls including ink fountains will be exchanged on the manroland Uniman press. With regards to the workflow, the customer will be provided with the EAE planning and ink presetting system PrintPP, as well as a Softproof system.
The second project was a Retrofit on manroland Uniplaster reelstands at the printing house "No 1 Trykk" in Lilleström, Norway. EAE started installing drives and controls of the reelstands using conversion kits, and later handed over the installation process to the costumer. The exchange was effected without interrupting printing operations.
