11. Jan. 2012 Successful start of the New Year

The current Siemens controls will be completely disassembled and replaced by the latest EAE control systems. Twelve new control consoles type “Baltic Star” with EAE Softproof system, five message and recording systems EAE Info, the production planning and presetting system EAE Print as well as a reporting database for further processing of actual production data are part of the scope of delivery.

The retrofit does not only guarantee the availability of the necessary spare parts for the next years, the very modern functionality of the printing presses will also be “state-of-the-art”, like in new installations. The project will begin in June 2012 and is scheduled to be ready in December this year. This is a very tight schedule and a major challenge for all parties involved, but this is also the reason why the customer has decided to place the order with EAE. We have proven many times, e.g. with Axel Springer AG in Berlin-Spandau or V-TAB in Goteborg/Sweden, our competence and on-time performance of high quality of such projects, such as this.

Apart from this important order, we are expecting several other interesting projects to take place, both at home and overseas, including new printing press equipment for a GOSS UNIVERSAL press in China. We continue to look forward positively, despite the many well-known problems that are now affecting the development of the supply chains within the newspaper market.
